PIVOT brings together three leading City & Guilds systems – Totara LMS for the Learner Portal, Learning Assistant for the E-Portfolio and Profiler for the MIS.
Each of these systems plays its own role and different users use them in different ways.
Totara LMS – the learner portal – this is the tool that your learners see. Your assessors also have access to see team overviews and work with the online Individual Learning Plan (ILP). An integrated message centre puts learners in touch with the right assessor.
Learning Assistant – tools to support the work of assessors and allow verifiers to monitor and confirm all is well. This is where evidence is assessed and due dates set. The LA ‘contact diary’ maintains an audited log of all interactions between learner and assessor.
Profiler – the PIVOT funding engine. Profiler is the master system for all user data. It produces funding reports and data feeds to pass to the Skills Funding Agency.
